Designers today do more than create—they craft narratives, manage platforms, analyze data, and navigate the complexities of communication. This piece explores the hidden thoughts of the messenger, questioning how censorship and self-censorship shape the way messages are shared. By focusing on individuals' willingness—or reluctance—to receive messages, this project will incorporate interactive elements to demonstrate how messages are crafted and to explore the delicate balance between freedom of expression and the constraints of living in a world where open communication is not always possible.
The Messenger unfolds in three stages:
Visible but untold — a reactive QR code poster
Spoken but hidden — a website you can’t find on browsers, filled with complaints
Always in front of your eyes — a face filter to be a constant reminder of your thoughts
